A series of brief documents have been produced to summarize the current and projected supply and demand for RNs in California. The first brief summarizes regional forecasts of RN supply and demand in California produced in December, 2018, and published by HealthImpact. The second brief summarizes the key findings from the 2017 Survey of Nurse Employers, published by UCSF. The third brief compares projections of RN supply and demand produced by UCSF and other investigators. These short summaries of important research are intended to guide educators, employers, and policymakers about the latest data and research on California’s nursing workforce.
